DKD Wealth Strategies Group, together with our friends and colleagues, raised funds and canned goods to help feed our neighbors in need. With every $1 donated Second Harvest was able to provide 7 pounds of food into the community. We raised $1,500 and, added together with our canned good donations, gave 10,750 pounds of food for our neighbors in need!
Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child or senior adult has been registered and accepted as an Angel their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in your community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. The gifts are distributed to the family to place under their family Christmas tree.
In 2020, DKD officially completed our most successful Angel Tree effort ever. We raised enough money to be able to shop for 200 Angels!
In addition to the 200 Angels, we were also able to provide 25 Silver Bells (elderly in our community) with $50 Walmart gift cards.

Feed the Frontline is a terrific organization that buys meals from locally-owned restaurants and feeds first responders. DKD provided 500 meals to first responders at their Medic headquarters! If you ever want to say “thank you” to a firefighter, police officer or EMT and support a locally owned restaurant at the same time, Feed the Frontline Charlotte is a great organization to support.
DKD brought Harris Teeter gift cards for Fire Station 32. Just wanted to say thank you for keeping us safe!
